Finally, the second scene I’ve been waiting to see filmed has aired, and it was freakin’ brilliant! (In case you’re wondering, the first was when Daenerys became the Mother of Dragons in season 1. No matter how much you beg, I refuse to tell you number 3 until it airs.)
Just thinking about how HBO had balked at the expense the Battle of Blackwater was going to cost, and had originally refused to pay for it makes me tear up. On that note, I’ll go on the record and say that tonight’s MVP for “Blackwater” was HBO. If they hadn’t given in, and forked over a check, tonight wouldn’t have been as phenomenal. Tonight’s episode is arguably one of the best battle scenes ever filmed, and the fact that it was written by The Man himself (George R.R. Martin) speaks for itself.
The Rains of Castamere
On the eve of battle, Bronn leads the soldiers in a sing-a-long. Singing “The Rains of Castamere,” the men drink to what could possibly their last night on Earth, or the day they become legend. Davos prepares his son for battle, and tries to squelch any doubts the boy might have. Hopefully his faith in Stannis is justified since his son’s life is on the line. Cersei also makes plans. Deadly plans. (Click here to read more.)

I like this web blog very much so much great information.
