I missed last night’s episode of Game of Thrones due to Mother’s Day, but finally got a chance to see it tonight. It was worth the wait. Like last week, this week’s episode also deviated some from the books, which makes it even more exciting.

Everyone seemed more armed than usual this week, or maybe I have amnesia. Who knows. What I do know is Jon snow is still traipsing the open plains with a hottie who hits on him like every 5 minutes. I have to say I admire his resolve. Especially since no one would ever know if he broke his vow of celibacy. Except us, of course. Jon tries his damnedest to let Ygritte know how seasoned he is. Trying so hard he walks right into a trap. He wasn’t the only one. In an effort to track down her dragons, Deanerys also walked into a trap. (more…)
