“It’s My Party and I’ll Die if I Want to.” – Being Human Recap

Being Human’s second season is at an end folks, and what a wild ride it’s been. Aidan, Sally, and Josh have travelled down three different dark roads that all seem to have led them to the same place. Aidan has not only achieved a hit on his head, but lost the love of his life. Sally has murdered other ghosts, and potentially damned her soul. Josh has loved and lost, and loved and lost again. He feels responsible for cursing Nora, and causing Julia’s death. The three have done monstrous things in an effort to regain their humanity, but at what price?

“I was a good child. Ate all my vegetables. Listened to my mother. Said my prayers at night.I was patient. I was kind. Now I’m starting to think that good things don’t always come to those who wait. We’ve been patient. We’ve been good. Now it’s time to try something else.”

Sally’s guilt is killing her, but she believes she has found the answer to her problems. If only she can right the wrongs she has committed she will be able to make amends for all that she has done. Maybe she’ll be able to save herself as well. It is from this hope to correct her mistakes that Sally asks her mother to reap her.
